Proprifunchal is a Government-licensed real estate agent (Mediador Autorizado) with the licence number 6265-AMI.

Graça Caires, the Managing Director of Proprifunchal has over 17 years experience in the local market and is well respected for her knowledge and caring attitude.

Graça has chosen to specialize in providing a real estate service for foreign residents, dealing with all aspects of the real estate market on the island (buying, selling and rentals). With her fluent english, she and her team have helped overseas buyers find both permanent and holiday homes on Madeira. Her experience allows her to guide clients through the entire buying process, giving good advice and helping to make the home-buying and rental experience as easy and problem-free as possible. 

                                                                     
The Licensing Authority
All licensed real estate agents have a license number issued by a government body that is the regulating entity of the construction and real estate sector. INCI (The "Instituto da Construção e do Imobiliário", formerly known as IMMOPI) is the name of this governing body. Every real estate agent is obligated to quote their licence AMI number on all advertising and promotional material.

Proprifunchal's real estate licence number through INCI is 6265-AMI, and is also registered with another official body, APEMIP, (The "Associação dos Profissionais e Empresas de Mediação Imobiliária de Portugal) under the number 3270, and as such have Professional indemnity and an enforceable code of conduct.
